Product Details

The Mares LED Tank Module is the link to enable communication between your air cylinder and currently works with the Mares Genius, Mares Quad Air or the Mares Smart Air wrist dive computer for easy monitoring of your air consumption throughout a dive.

Once mounted on your first stage and you've 'paired' your tank module with your appropriate Mares Dive computer, initially the LED on the tank module will provide a quick pre-dive check of cylinder contents on the surface by flashing Green.  Throughout the dive the tank module transmits tank pressure data via hoseless coded RF protocol to your wrist computer. Using the Mares Sonda HP Wireless Module Tank LED your integrated dive computer is then able to provide you with the real consumption in litres once the cylinder volumes have been set, thus optimising bottom times according to the decompression gas supply. Your Mares wrist computer will display the tank pressure and calculate your gas consumption rate and dive time remaining before reaching the reserve value.

During the dive your dive buddy can also 'see' your air level as the LED on the tank module will flash when certain pressure levels have been reached. The probe has a flashing LED that indicates the gas pressure using colour codes: Green for over 180 bar; Yellow at 100 bar; and Red below 50 bar. This highlights to your dive buddy or guide once your air level is at the half tank mark or the tank reserve level.
